  • Expected salary: $30 per hour

Sales Coordinator – Newcastle

  • Permanent Full Time Salaried Role
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 4:30pm or 7:30am to 4pm Roster
  • Based at Newcastle Branch (Lambton)
  • Stepping stone to Internal Sales Rep or Account Management Role

Working closely with Customers – new and existing, External & Internal Sales team, Inventory Team and our Warehouse team, this role is largely viewed as an important resource for our sales team ensuring we deliver the best possible customer experience for our clients.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders received by phone, fax, email or counter
  • Identifying customer needs re deliveries, products, stock availability, pricing, etc.
  • Handling customer complaints in a professional manner; investigate, negotiate and respond in a timely manner
  • Processing of customer payments by phone or counter
  • Maintaining flexibility in handling ongoing customer sales related queries by directing technical
  • Processing and follow-up of quotes relating to a sale
  • Maintain and update and/or notify Team leader/Office Manager of changes to customer contact details
  • Recording, matching, checking and filing accounts, invoices, orders, requisitions, end of day banking, etc
  • Support and assist Counter Sales, reception and co-workers as and when required
  • Be proactive within the Sales team providing good support, morale, passion and a fun environment to work in
  • Provide back-up support for any position within the Branch when required (subject to relevant skills and knowledge of the role)

Ideally suiting individuals with experience in a similar role across the building and supply industry, those with a previous experience with aluminium, metals, doors & windows will be highly regarded.
