Travelex in Newcastle is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Consultant to represent our brand, promote travel money products, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll be the face of Travelex, driving sales while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and store operations.

Qualifications

• Frontline customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to upsell travel money products.
• Comfort working with numbers and targets.

Key accountabilities

• Deliver excellence in customer service and achieve individual KPIs/targets
• Maximize sales and promote to all customers our Travelex product range
• Embrace the digital mindset via social media – Google reviews/Facebook/Instagram
• Monitor stock levels and fully investigate overs and shorts (differences) and report
• Comply with all company and location policy and procedures, including legal requirements

Your experience

• Passion for Travel and positive can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal communication and written comprehension skills
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Enjoys working with numbers and detail in a structured environment
• Retail, cash-handling, and/or banking experience is desirable (but not essential)
• Ability to handle routine activities with attention to accuracy and detail
• A strong record of performance delivery through increased sales and/or performance against KPIs
• Ability to build and manage relationships across all levels, internally and externally
