Additional information

  • These roles are Permanent Part-time, 50 hrs/fortnight
  • Applications close Wednesday 22 Oct 2025
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday)

As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
  • Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised sales area, ensuring all products are properly priced and fully stocked.
  • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

As a Sales Co-worker you are or have

  • Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
  • A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
  • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools.
  • A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
