Job summary

Mainfreight Orange is seeking a Sales Cadet to join our growing team and gain real-world sales experience in transport and logistics.

You'll work with experienced leaders, learn how businesses operate, and build relationships with customers while developing skills across operations, customer service, and sales. This is a hands-on program over 12–24 months designed to launch a long-term career with opportunities to advance within a global logistics company.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; open to school leavers, trainees and career changers.
• Motivated to develop a long-term career in sales and logistics.
• Willingness to learn across transport, warehousing and customer service.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck behind a desk all day. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, learn how businesses operate, build relationships with customers, and gain real‑world sales experience in one of Australia’s most essential industries.

What’s a Sales Cadetship?

Over 12‑24 months, you’ll receive hands‑on training across all areas of our business, giving you the knowledge and skills needed to build a successful career in sales.

You’ll gain experience in:

• Transport operations and logistics
• Customer service and administration
• Sales and business development
• Customer onboarding and relationship management
• Warehousing, International Freight and the wider Supply Chain
• Internal and external sales training programs
• Working alongside and learning from experienced leaders and sales professionals
