Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) seeks a dedicated WHSE Advisor to maintain a safe, compliant and high-performing work environment across our sites. You will collaborate with project teams, WHSE Managers and operational leaders to uphold robust safety standards.

The role involves supporting RCC's WHSE systems, conducting site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and hazard management while fostering a proactive safety culture that aligns with our values.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a construction, engineering or safety-related role.
  • ICAM or similar incident investigation training.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to safety; eager to learn and build a long-term WHSE career.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of RCC's WHSE systems, standards and project-specific compliance requirements.
  • Assisting with workforce onboarding and inductions.
  • Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations.
  • Supporting risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities.
  • Assisting with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
  • Encouraging proactive hazard reporting and a positive safety culture across project teams.
  • Working closely with site leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times.

The Role:

What We’re Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a construction, engineering or safety-related role.
  • ICAM or similar incident investigation training
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to safety.Eagerness to learn, develop and build a long-term career in WHSE.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
