The Safety and Return to Work Officer is an operational delivery role within the People & Culture team, reporting to the Coordinator Health and Safety. Provide hands‑on coordination, administration and implementation support across return to work, workers compensation, injury management, health monitoring, incident support, compliance records and day‑to‑day safety and wellbeing activities. The role supports the Coordinator Health and Safety’s strategic leadership of Council’s OHS Framework, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy, Return to Work governance, psychosocial risk response, incident governance, reporting and committee responsibilities.
