Job summary

Aurizon is looking for a Safety Partner to join their Safety, Health & Environment team. This position supports both site-based FIFO operations and Adelaide-based corporate support, focusing on driving safety performance across the project.

You will provide hands-on safety partnering, ensuring strong governance and compliance, and work with leaders on implementing safety initiatives. With over 2 years of safety management experience, you will aid in fostering a robust safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in safety management within a high-risk industry.
• Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to implement safety initiatives aligned to objectives.
• Provide practical safety advice, coaching and support to teams.
• Support leaders in building a strong safety and wellbeing culture.
• Facilitate and track safety action plans and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct frontline audits and provide SHE assurance.
