Job summary

Lion's Tooheys Brewery in Lidcombe is seeking a Safety Partner to partner with site leaders, coach teams and strengthen safety culture across operations.

You will implement Lion's safety systems, drive risk reduction and support incident, emergency and return-to-work processes. This role focuses on guiding, influencing and building capability rather than doing safety alone, at one of Lion's most recognised sites.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
• Practical WHS experience in an operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk and incident management.
• Exposure to operational safety risks such as machinery, logistics or materials handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence coaching and influencing operational leaders and frontline teams.
• Return to Work Coordinator Certificate or equivalent experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders and operational teams to strengthen safety practices and culture.
• Coach leaders to identify, assess and effectively manage operational risks.
• Support incident management, including serious incidents and regulator notification processes.
• Provide support across injury management, workers compensation and return to work.
• Support emergency management planning and operational safety requirements.
• Bring a strong risk lens to areas including machine safety, materials handling and chemical management.
• Build safety capability so leaders and teams confidently own safety within their day-to-day operations.
