Job summary

Harness Energy is seeking experienced Industry Trainers & Assessors to deliver accredited training and assessment at Harness Training Facilities and on client sites. You will ensure learners are competent and workplace-ready through practical and theory-based assessments.

The role requires current industry qualifications in relevant areas, a TAE certificate (or upgrade), and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, with strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

  • Current industry qualifications in one or more listed training areas.
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or TAE40116 with upgrade) is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong communication and training delivery skills.
  • Ability to engage and mentor learners from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accredited training and assessments at Harness Training Facilities and client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with ASQA and RTO requirements.
  • Conduct practical and theory-based assessments.
  • Maintain accurate training records and student competency reports.
  • Provide real-world industry insights to students.

The Role

As an Industry Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering accredited training and assessment at one or more of the Harness Training Facilities as well as on client sites. Your expertise will ensure students are competent, compliant, and ready to work safely in their chosen industries.

What You Need
  • Current industry qualifications in one or more of the areas listed above
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or TAE40116 with upgrade)
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in relevant fields
  • Strong communication and training delivery skills
  • Ability to engage and mentor learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Blue card
  • Ability to travel periodically
  • Australian working rights
