Job summary

COSCO SHIPPING (Oceania) Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a dedicated WHS professional to implement local WHS regimes, conduct inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and organise emergency drills.

You will maintain compliance records, deliver safety training, and contribute to a safe workplace across logistics and warehousing environments, with strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in WHS, risk management or related field.
• Knowledge of Australian and NSW WHS laws and regulations.
• Experience in safety inspections, risk assessment and incident reporting.
• WH&S qualifications are highly desirable.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing or transport environments desirable.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation and report-writing skills.

About the Role

Implement Australian local WHS regimes; conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigation & disposal; organise emergency drills and safety training; maintain safety-compliance records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS), risk management or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Australian and New South Wales WHS legislation, regulations and relevant safety requirements.
• Experience in workplace safety inspections, hazard identification and risk assessment, corrective action follow-up, incident reporting and emergency management.
• Relevant WHS/OHS qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, container depot, transport or other operational environments is highly desirable.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation and report-writing skills.
