Job summary

Vulcan Steel in Brisbane is seeking a driver to deliver orders on a multi drop run with a strong emphasis on load restraint and safety. You will assess loads, restrain them properly, and ensure compliance at every stop while delivering a high level of customer service.

Required are 2+ years of HR driving experience and ability to secure loads with straps and chains. A pre-employment medical and drug screen are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR driving experience is required.
• Experience securing loads with straps and chains to meet load restraint regs.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Delivering orders on a multi drop run.
• Assess the safety and suitability of a load before leaving site.
• Ensure load is restrained correctly before leaving base and at every stop.
• Identify incorrect/non conforming items loaded.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
