Job summary

Pantoro Limited is seeking an experienced Safety Emergency Response Training Advisor to join our Norseman operations in Western Australia. This full‑time onsite role operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster with FIFO from Perth, delivering and maintaining emergency response training across our mining sites.

You will lead training delivery, coordinate with site leaders and external emergency services, and contribute to safety systems and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency response or mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety and risk management.
• Proven training delivery and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
• Cert IV Healthcare Ambulance and Cert III in Emergency Response and Rescue are mandatory.
• Cert IV WHS is highly desirable.
• Cert IV Training and Assessment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with site and legislative safety requirements.
• Deliver emergency response, first aid and firefighting training.
• Support site emergency readiness and response activities.
• Maintain emergency response equipment and facilities.
• Provide safety advice, incident support and risk management guidance.
• Contribute to safety systems, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with site leaders, contractors and external emergency services.
• Participate in the emergency response on-call roster as required.

Job description

Pantoro Limited is seeking an experienced Safety Emergency Response Training Advisor to join our growing team at our Norseman operations in Western Australia. This is a full time position based onsite working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, Fly in – Fly out (FIFO) from Perth, where you will play a crucial role in developing, delivering and maintaining our emergency response training programmes. This position is strategically important to our operations, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergency situations and maintain a safe working environment across our mining operations.

The role is supported by a Senior Advisor, Coordinator, and Departmental Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with site and legislative safety requirements
• Deliver emergency response, first aid and firefighting training programs
• Support site emergency preparedness, readiness and response activities
• Maintain emergency response equipment and facilities
• Provide safety advice, incident support and risk management guidance
• Contribute to safety systems, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

• Participate in the emergency response on-call roster as required
