Job summary

Coronado Global Resources is seeking a Safety & Compliance Officer for the Curragh Complex in Blackwater, QLD, on a fixed-term contract through February 2027. The role supports safety governance across Australian operations and requires strong compliance and systems experience.

The incumbent will manage compliance registers, audits, and reporting while coordinating with site HST teams to strengthen regulatory adherence and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, document control, safety systems or compliance.
• Strong record-keeping, reporting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, SuccessFactors and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance registers and statutory reporting.
• Monitor adherence to Safety and Health Management System and legislation.
• Maintain compliance calendars and track actions to completion.
• Support internal and external assurance and audit activities.
• Track audit findings and corrective actions with evidence.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and regulators.
• Identify trends and gaps in compliance performance.
• Maintain safety documents, forms and procedures.
