Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services seeks a Safety and Compliance Advisor to ensure the center aligns with QCS legislative, QA and Risk Management frameworks. You will monitor and develop compliance programs, review policies, and advise management on risk and mitigation.

You will provide guidance to the Chief Superintendent to enhance safety outcomes for staff, prisoners and visitors through the Correctional Centre Local Action Plan. This role sits within the Administration occupational group.

Qualifications

• Monitoring and developing compliance programs.
• Reviewing policies to meet QA and risk frameworks.
• Advising management on risk and risk mitigation.
• Support to senior leadership for safety outcomes.
