Job summary

Queensland Health in Woodford is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Safety & Quality Officer to provide advanced clinical expertise, lead safety and quality initiatives, and support governance across Woodford Correctional Centre and nearby facilities.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Governance Unit and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen patient-centred care, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in safety and quality.

• Demonstrated experience in clinical governance and safety initiatives.
• Ability to lead and influence across professional boundaries.
• Proven capability to mentor and support other clinicians.

Lead safety, quality and clinical excellence in a unique healthcare environment.An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant – Safety & Quality Officer to provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership within Woodford Correctional Centre and across the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford Clinical Directorate.

About the role

Working closely with the Clinical Governance Unit and multidisciplinary teams, you will help strengthen clinical governance, drive continuous improvement and support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred healthcare.

About you
