Job summary

Ochre Health Ltd. seeks a VR GP VMO or non-VR clinician for a newly approved RVTS Targeted Recruitment training position on Flinders Island, Tasmania.

This rural generalist pathway offers supported training in a community with a strong lifestyle, and a pathway to Fellowship within a MMM7 environment. Train while you practice, with remote and face-to-face components, backed by seasoned supervisors and a network of rural healthcare leaders.

Qualifications

• Open to Vocationally Registered GPs (FRACGP/FACRRM) OR non-VR doctors seeking a premier RVTS Targeted Recruitment training position.
• Experience or strong interest in emergency and inpatient care, backed by a commitment to team-based care.
• A genuine passion for community-focused medicine and the outdoors, with a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across a rural generalist role, including emergency and inpatient care.
• Participate in RVTS Targeted Recruitment training and supervision.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rural healthcare.
