Job summary

Alfred Health is seeking an RUSON – Undergraduate Assistant in Nursing across its sites. Based in Melbourne, this fixed-term, part-time role supports the nursing team while you complete your pre-registration studies, with intake dates in November 2026, December 2026 and February 2027.

You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, gaining experience in a hospital setting and taking on progressively delegated tasks as you develop.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master of Nursing degree with at least 12 months completed.
• Eligible for salary packaging and novated leasing.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursing team in delivering safe, patient-centred care under supervision.
• Work under the direction of a registered nurse at all times within education level and competencies.
• Participate in delegated care delivery for activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Provide general support to wards/units and assist across various general and specialty areas.
