Job summary

Tamworth Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Respiratory Physician to provide high-quality respiratory and general medical care to inpatients. Applicants including International Medical Graduates via Specialist Pathway are welcomed for comparability assessment.

The role offers teaching opportunities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, a fortnightly theatre list including bronchoscopy and EBUS, and MDT participation.

Qualifications

• Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural and on‑call duties as required by HNELHD.
• Participation in education, research and MDT activities.
• Experience in General Medicine and Respiratory Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on‑call services as determined by HNELHD.
• Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and on call including clinical handover and supervision.
• Provision of education and research as determined and required by HNELHD.
• Participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
