Job summary

South West Hospital and Health Service in Charleville is seeking a Registered Nurse – Child and Family to deliver compassionate, person‑centred nursing care in a rural setting. The role supports immunisations, childhood screening (vision and hearing) and the Queensland Kids First program within the Primary and Community Care Team.

Experience in paediatric health is desirable; working in bush communities offers opportunities to broaden practice and contribute to a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Requires compassionate, person-centred nursing care within rural/remote contexts.
• Competence in nursing care as per NMBA standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in rural/remote settings.
