Job summary

SA Health’s Limestone Coast Local Health Network in Mount Gambier is seeking a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist (AHP2) for a full-time, 12-month temporary contract commencing January 2027. The base salary ranges from $94,997 to $110,052 per year, with 12% superannuation, leave loading and salary sacrifice.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and be eligible for current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Hold a two-year Master's qualification with a related allied health undergraduate degree, or have at least two years' postgraduate experience, and demonstrate AHP2-level competencies.
• Demonstrate sound clinical assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation skills across a broad range of physiotherapy presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, person-centred physiotherapy services to improve health outcomes across the Limestone Coast community.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions with increasing clinical autonomy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to service improvement and clinical development of junior staff and students.
