Job summary
Healthcarelink Recruitment Support Partner seeks a GP VMO with Emergency Skills to cover ED and ward duties in Cobar, NSW. You will be the sole doctor on call 24/7, handle in-person triage (Categories 1–5) from 0800 to 2000, and conduct overnight reviews of ED presentations as required.
On-site rounds start at 8am with ward reviews, with time negotiated with site. The role requires ED experience, eMeds training completion, and Medicare provider number with full billing rights or refer and
Qualifications
- GP with Emergency Department experience required.
- Must have completed eMeds training.
- Medicare provider number with full billing rights or refer and request billing rights.
Responsibilities
- Be the sole Doctor on call 24/7.
- Attend all triage categories (1–5) in person 0800–2000.
- Overnight (2000–0800) review Category 1–3 ED presentations in person.
- Overnight (2000–0800) review Category 4–5 ED presentations as needed.
- Attend inpatients deteriorating when requested by clinicians.
- 8am ward rounds and ED reviews; call time to be negotiated.
