Job summary

REMA Tip Top is seeking experienced Surface Protection Technicians (Rubber Liners) to join our Welshpool Workshop on a Monday to Friday roster. This permanent full-time role offers an immediate start and a 38-hour work week with potential overtime.

You will be responsible for surface preparation of lining systems, applying primers and adhesives, reading technical drawings, and complying with QC guidelines while maintaining safety standards on site in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in Rubber Lining.
• Full-time permanent position with Monday to Friday roster.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation of different lining/coating systems - soft rubber lining systems, hard rubber lining systems, composite systems, polyurea and polyurethane systems on steel surfaces.
• Application of relevant primer & adhesive systems.
• Application of different lining/coating systems in accordance to manufacturer and/or client standard.
• Reading of technical drawings.
• Reading and adherence to job card & QC guidelines.
• Lay out & cutting of different lining systems.
• Operating relevant hand / power tools within safety specifications.

Education

Current Drivers Licence

High Risk Work Licence including Forklift
