Job summary

Barwon Health is seeking a graduate Occupational Therapist to join a clinical rotational program with 12 rotations across inpatient rehabilitation, CRC, CHC and Child and Family Services, under a Grade 2 OT supervisor.

This temporary full-time role offers mentorship, multidisciplinary teamwork, and exposure to diverse clinical areas such as orthopaedics, surgery, neurology, GEM and paediatrics, building skills for a successful OT career.

Qualifications

• Current 4th year Occupational Therapy Students / New graduate occupational therapists who will be in their first 12 months of qualified OT employment in 2027
• Enthusiastic graduate Occupational Therapist committed to developing your clinical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work independently while seeking appropriate support and supervision
• Commitment to professional development, reflective practice and evidence-based practice

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support consumer goals and outcomes
• Develop your clinical skills and knowledge across a range of clinical settings and specialties
• Participate in clinical supervision, professional development and reflective practice
• Contribute to quality improvement, research and service development activities
