The NSW Police Force invites applications for a Line Pilot - Rotary Wing based in Bankstown. The role covers flying under IFR in single pilot multi-engine helicopters to support the Aviation Command and Police Transport and Public Safety Command.

A history of high-precision flight operations is essential. Required are a Class 1 Medical, CPL/ATPL (H), IR(H) (ME), NVIS Grade 1, and substantial PIC hours with low level experience.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 Medical
Commercial Pilot Licence (H) or ATPL (H)
Helicopter Instrument Rating (IR H) (ME)
Night Vision Imaging Rating (Grade 1)
Low Level Rating – winch, sling
3000 hours PIC helicopter
1000 hours experience turbine-powered helicopter aircraft
200 hours PIC night experience
Low level experience in helicopters

Responsibilities

Fly single pilot multi-engine helicopters under instrument flight rules in a safe and professional manner.
Support all operations of the aviation command and NSWPF objectives.

Commercial Pilot Licence (H) or ATPL (H)

Night Vision Imaging Rating (Grade 1)

Low Level Rating – winch, sling
