Job summary

Higgins Coatings on the Sunshine Coast is seeking IRATA rope access technicians with painting experience for ongoing commercial repaint projects across the region. This is a full-time role with ongoing work, competitive remuneration, and weekly pay.

Uniforms and abseil equipment are supplied, with paid refresher or next-level rope access courses available, plus career progression opportunities within the national network.

Qualifications

• IRATA rope access certification or proven rope access experience.
• Experience in painting commercially or on buildings.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate rope access crews safely.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Undertake at-height cleaning and painting of commercial buildings.
• Supervise others and ensure ropes, anchors and gear are set up safely.

Your Opportunity

Due to winning several significant projects, we are looking for IRATA Abseilers to join our Sunshine Coast branch. Ideally you are also a trade qualified painter or have commercial painting experience. This is a full-time role with ongoing work.

You Will Be On The Tools And Required To

• Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a clear understanding of each project and deliver projects on-time, within scope, within budget, safely.
• Undertake at height cleaning and painting of commercial buildings
• Supervise others and ensure ropes, anchors and gear is set up safely
