Job summary

Mini Masterminds Leichhardt is seeking a passionate Full-Time Room Leader to guide your classroom team and deliver high-quality education and care in a safe, nurturing environment. You will mentor educators, plan and evaluate EYLF-aligned programs, foster inclusion, build relationships with children and families, and ensure compliance with NQF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) required.
• Demonstrated leadership or Room Leader experience in ECE.
• Current WWCC and first aid certificates required.
• Solid knowledge of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor educators within your room through on-the-floor guidance.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate EYLF-aligned educational programs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and centre goals.
• Promote a positive, collaborative team culture.
