Job summary

Mini Masterminds is seeking a Full‑Time Room Leader at Sydney Olympic Park Betty Cuthbert to lead the classroom team, mentor staff, and oversee high‑quality education and care in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work with the Centre Leadership Team to ensure compliance with NQF/NQS and to drive ongoing improvement, professional development, and strong partnerships with families.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• WWCC must be current and valid.
• First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor educators within your room through on-the-floor guidance and support.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through meaningful interactions.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to quality improvement and centre-wide goals.
• Promote a positive, collaborative team culture.
