Job summary

Crown Sydney is seeking friendly, reliable people to join our Housekeeping team. You will help deliver the premium experience Crown is known for, in an internationally recognised luxury hotel.

This is for both full-time and part-time roles, with opportunities suitable for students on visas or those seeking flexible hours.

You'll work with a supportive team, receive staff meals, uniform, penalties for evenings/weekends, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ months' housekeeping experience in hotel/resort.
• Availability to work across a 7‑day rotating roster.
• Ability to perform continuous physical work (standing, bending, lifting).
• English communication skills to understand instructions and safety requirements.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to Crown’s high standards.
• Make beds, change linen and clean bathrooms.
• Vacuum and tidy rooms.
• Refill guest amenities and supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor.
• Respect guest privacy and work professionally at all times.
• Work with your team to meet daily room targets based on a credit system.

The Role

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our Housekeeping team at Crown Sydney.

At Crown, the Housekeeping team plays a vital role in delivering the premium experience guests expect from one of Australia’s most iconic luxury hotels. Fully insourced and proudly part of the Crown family, you will be part of a supportive team and play an important role in delivering a high‑quality guest experience.

We are hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for those on Student Visas or seeking flexible part-time work to gain experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

What you’ll do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to Crown’s high standards
• Make beds, change linen and clean bathrooms
• Vacuum and tidy rooms
• Refill guest amenities and supplies

What we require

• At least 3 months’ previous experience in Housekeeping in a hotel, resort, or accommodation environment
• Availability to work across a 7‑day rotating roster
• Ability to perform continuous physical work, including standing, bending and lifting over 8 hours
• English communication skills to understand personalised instructions and safety requirements
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
