DR Smith Group is seeking Roofers & Roofing Labourers to join our team in Clontarf, Queensland. This full-time role involves hands-on work with our roofing professionals on residential and commercial projects.

You will assist with installation, repair and maintenance of roofs, load materials, and adhere to safety protocols while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laborer or similar trade role, preferably roofing
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and proactive risk mitigation

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of roofs using tiles, metal, and shingles
• Load, unload and transport materials and equipment to job sites
• Perform general labour tasks such as passing materials and keeping work areas clean

Job description

We are seeking multiple dedicated Roofers & Roofing Labourers to join our team at DR Smith Group in Clontarf, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve hands-on work assisting our experienced roofing professionals with all aspects of residential and commercial roofing projects.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs using a variety of materials such as tiles, metal, and shingles

Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment to job sites

Performing general labour tasks such as passing materials, cleaning, and tidying work areas

Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Collaborating with the roofing team to ensure efficient and high-quality work

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a laborer or in a similar trade role, preferably within the roofing industry

Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks

Work as part of a team

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
