Job summary

The Shed House is seeking a Roofer, Carpenter or skilled Trade Assistant to join our growing team on residential builds. You’ll gain exposure to framing, roofing, and cladding, including manufacturing the frame and site installation.

Based across Burpengary to Gympie with some work in our Landsborough factory, you\'ll work with steel framing and site crews while maintaining safety paperwork and keeping the site organized.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and honest.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Great teamwork skills.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience working with colorbond sheeting and flashings.
• Knowledge of building materials.
• Current White Card.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable vehicle with travel between sites.
• Own tools.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Work on residential properties from Burpengary to Gympie and in Landsborough factory.
• Build with steel framing from frame to completion.
• Manufacture frames using steel frame roll former.
• Keep the shed organized and complete safety paperwork.
• Install site and marketing signage on sites and around the local area.
• Support ongoing, long-term projects with a stable team.

The role:

Work is based on residential properties from Burpengary to Gympie with some work in our factory at Landsborough.

Working with steel framing - constructing new homes from frame stage to completion

Manufacturing frames using steel frame roll former

Keeping the shed organised and completing safety paperwork

Install site and marketing signage on sites and around the local area
