Job summary

InLife in Victoria is seeking a dedicated disability support worker to assist a client in her 70s with personal care, meals, and household tasks. Evening shifts 5pm–8pm on weekdays are required; ongoing day shifts on weekends may be available.

This not-for-profit provider emphasizes high-quality, person-centred care and values safety, respect and independence for clients. A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required before starting; vaccination is encouraged per ATAGI guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care (showering & dressing) and assistance with domestic duties (meal prep & housekeeping).
• Full driver's licence and willingness to drive client's vehicle.
• Evening availability: weekdays, 5pm–8pm.
• Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.

Responsibilities

• Support a client in her 70s with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Build rapport with the client and provide compassionate, patient care.
• Assist with transport by driving the client's vehicle as required.

• Must be available to work in the evening on weekdays
• $46.65 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax)

Looking for staff to support a client in her 70's needing support with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks. Our client enjoys watching music drama shows, visiting surrounding local areas and spending time with her pets.

• Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.
• Confidence to navigate day-to-day challenges calmly and thoughtfully
• Experience in personal care (showering and dressing) and assistance with domestic duties (meal preparation and housekeeping).
• Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client
• Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives
• Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients vehicle
• Must be available to work in the evening on weekdays, 5pm to 8pm
• Ongoing day shifts during the week and weekends available
