Job summary

Aurizon is seeking Electrical Tradespeople for the Rollingstock Maintenance team in Ceduna, SA. You will inspect, fault-find, service and repair locomotives, wagons, plant and infrastructure to keep assets safe and ready for freight operations across the network.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, interpret schematics, and support apprentices while adhering to safety procedures in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Certificate (mandatory).
• Valid A-Class Electrical Licence.
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical documentation.
• Unrestricted C-Class Driver’s Licence.
• Physically fit and able to meet rail medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on rollingstock and support plant.
• Fault-finding using schematics, drawings, tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Working on electrical systems within your trade scope.
• Undertaking train examinations and operating fixed/mobile plant as needed.
• Supporting derailment recovery and field response work when required.
• Accurately completing work orders and following safety procedures.
• Providing on-the-job support or guidance to apprentices or other team members.

About the role:

We’re looking for Electrical Tradespeople to join our Rollingstock Maintenance team in Ceduna.
