Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual assignments across building, landscaping and industrial sites. Earn strong weekly pay with $1,400+ per week potential and a $22 daily travel allowance, with 11.5% superannuation and immediate start.

We supply skilled casual staff to builders, landscapers, manufacturers and industrial businesses, with many drivers toward permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of industries including landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs and shopfitting
• Assist qualified tradespeople and perform general labouring duties
• Site preparation, clean-up and material handling (wheelbarrowing, digging, lifting)
• Container unloading and site tidying

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:
