Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual assignments across construction, landscaping and industrial sites in Queensland. If you're reliable, physically fit and have at least 12 months' experience, we want to hear from you.

Earn $35.11 per hour plus 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly pay around $1,400+. Weekly shifts and genuine pathways to permanent employment with reputable employers are on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a trade assistant.
• Construction White Card held, valid on-site.
• Current driver licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and maintain a strong work ethic.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We’re Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
• High-visibility clothing
