Job summary

Hays is recruiting for a Floating Supervisor in the rock tools division of a global mining services business. The role involves leading site teams, coordinating operations across multiple Australian sites, and mentoring staff to deliver services safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have proven team leadership in an operational setting, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support mining contracts across multiple operations within the rock tools division.
• Travel to sites as required to provide operational support.
• Drive safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
• Build strong relationships with site personnel, engineers and management.
• Support drill consumable management, refurbishment and maintenance activities.
• Monitor contract performance, inventory levels and customer requirements.
