Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a curious, hands-on Robotics & Integration Engineer to help bring intelligent automation solutions to life. In this role, you will work at the intersection of robotics, software, sensors, and operational innovation - designing, integrating, testing, and supporting robotic systems that improve workflows and create real impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional, regional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop reliable robotic solutions, troubleshoot real-time system challenges, and contribute to the continued evolution of our automation capabilities. Ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, learning emerging technologies, and turning ideas into practical solutions, this role offers exposure to robotics programming, mobile robot navigation, sensor integration, embedded systems, IoT, computer vision, and machine learning within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, integrate and maintain robotic automation systems and solutions.
  • Program robotic systems using relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse workflows and identify automation opportunities.
  • Create and conduct tests to validate robotic systems and ensure reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems in real-time.
  • Document system designs, processes, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering (Robotics), or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel independently to customer sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas as required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automation (e.g., C++, Python, PLC programming).
  • Proven experience in robotic automation design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Basic theoretical knowledge on SLAM and Lidar technology
  • Practical hands-on experience with motion control and path planning for mobile robots.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design and software architecture.
  • Knowledge of real-time and embedded systems programming.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based automation solutions, IoT applications, sensor integration, computer vision, and machine learning.
