Job summary

City of Wodonga is offering a full-time temporary four-year apprenticeship in Civil Construction in Victoria. You will earn $35.81 per hour plus superannuation while completing formal study toward a Certificate III in Civil Construction and gaining practical experience in roadside maintenance.

Join a supportive outdoor team and develop skills in road, drainage, and infrastructure maintenance, plant operation, traffic management, and site safety as you work across council projects.

Qualifications

• Complete formal study toward a Certificate III in Civil Construction as part of a four-year apprenticeship.
• Four-year apprenticeship with hands-on learning and competency assessments.
• OHS White Card and National Police Check required prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with maintaining roads, drainage, pathways, kerb and channel, bridges, guardrails, signage.
• Operate and learn about plant and equipment, traffic management and site safety.
• Support safe, coordinated worksites and contribute to routine recordkeeping and reporting.
