Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Civil Construction Operations or equivalent.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in civil or road maintenance.
• Strong WHS practices and Traffic Controller qualifications.
• NSW Class HR Driver’s Licence and ability to operate civil plant.
• Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Diploma in Civil Construction, or First Aid cert is highly regarded.
• 9 Day Fortnight and leave entitlements.
• Openness to ongoing learning and wellbeing programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sealed roads maintenance and rehabilitation activities.
• Mentor crew members and contractors.
• Implement safe work practices, toolbox talks, risk assessments, SWMS.
• Oversee traffic control setups and ensure compliance with Traffic Control Plans.
• Plan daily tasks, report progress, and operate plant.
