Job summary

Workfast is seeking multiple Asphalt workers in the Rockhampton area to commence immediately. This ongoing role has the potential to become permanent after probation, with day and night shifts available and penalties paid for overs.

You will operate a roller and assist with pavement rehabilitation, asphalt resurfacing and related labour tasks. Benefits include long-term work and a supportive team at a great company; applicants ideally live in Central Queensland/Rockhampton and hold relevant

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalting/road works.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Roller ticket and Skid Steer ticket desirable.
• HR Licence (ideally) helpful.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work within WHS&E policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roller and assist with pavement rehabilitation and asphalt resurfacing.
• General labouring as required.
• Support site safety and follow WHS policies.

This role will see you operating a roller, pavement rehabilitation, asphalt resurfacing and more. You will also be required to do general labouring where needed.

The Requirements

• Previous experience in asphalting/road works
• Ideally live in Central Queensland/Rockhampton
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Hold a Roller ticket
• Hold a Skid Steer ticket
• HR Licence (ideally)
• Strong safety focus and ability to operate within WHS&E policies
• Strong organisational and team working skills
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
• Hardworking, honest & reliable character with a positive attitude
