Job summary

Workforce International is seeking Road Workers for upcoming short-term roles across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter Regions. Roles involve assisting with road construction and maintenance, operating hand and power tools, and performing manual labour.

Applicants should have Labourer experience, be able to pass a pre-employment physical and D&A screening, and hold an OHS White Card with Traffic Control Ticket. Additional licences are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Labourers role, preferably roadwork.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and D&A screening.
• OHS White Card and Traffic Control Ticket required; other licences are a plus.

Duties may include:

• Assisting with the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads and related infrastructure
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools, as well as small machinery where applicable
• Performing manual labour tasks such as digging and compacting
• Ensuring work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the wider construction team to deliver high-quality outcomes

What we're looking for

• Experience in aLabourersrole, preferably within theroadworker space
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment including D&A screening
• MUST hold OHS White Card and Traffic Control Ticket
• Additional licences such as MR Drivers licence or plant operating ticketsare highly desired however not required
• Strong practical skills and the ability to use a range of hand and power tools
• Commitment to working safely and following established procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
