Ideal candidates have HR licences, traffic management tickets, and experience in asphalt, concrete, and road signage. Flocon and Eductor/NDD truck experience is highly regarded, with a strong safety focus and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in road maintenance or civil construction.
• Flocon truck or Eductor/NDD experience advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical labour.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general road maintenance and minor civil works.
• Perform asphalt repairs, pothole patching and bitumen works.
• Repair concrete, kerb and footpath maintenance.
• Install and maintain road signage.
• Operate HR trucks and assist with material transport.
• Operate Flocon trucks where experienced.
• Assist with Eductor/NDD truck operations where experienced.
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Complete basic plant and equipment pre-start checks.
• Collaborate across multiple road maintenance Crews as required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

We are currently seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers to join crews operating across Melbourne's Northern and Western Suburbs.

We are ideally looking for HR-licensed all-rounders with experience across various road maintenance activities, including asphalt, concrete, signage and general civil works. Candidates with Flocon or Eductor/Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) truck experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out general road maintenance and minor civil works
• Asphalt repairs, pothole patching and bitumen works
• Concrete repairs, kerb and footpath maintenance
• Installing and maintaining road signage
• Operating HR trucks and assisting with material transport
• Operating Flocon trucks (where experienced)
• Assisting with Eductor/NDD truck operations (where experienced)
• Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment
• Completing basic plant and equipment pre-start checks
• Working across multiple road maintenance crews as required
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

What Will You Need?

• Valid HR Driver's Licence
• Traffic Management Tickets
• Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction or asphalt works
• Experience across multiple areas of road maintenance highly regarded
• Flocon truck operating experience highly regarded
• Eductor/NDD truck experience advantageous
• Ability to undertake physical labouring duties
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
