Job summary

Connect People is seeking an experienced Flocon Operator to join our client's road maintenance team in Sydney, NSW. Operate a Flocon truck, support pothole and asphalt maintenance, and carry out planned and reactive road tasks.

This role offers day and night shifts on a rotating roster, with safety-focused work around live traffic, and opportunities to grow within a respected infrastructure provider.

Qualifications

• MR Licence or higher is essential.
• Proven experience operating a Flocon truck is essential.
• Experience in road maintenance, asphalt, civil construction or infrastructure preferred.
• Understanding of safe work practices around live traffic environments.
• Full Australian working rights and Sydney-based employment.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Flocon truck for road maintenance activities.
• Supporting pothole repairs and asphalt maintenance works.
• Assisting with planned and reactive road maintenance tasks.
• Carrying out general road repair and maintenance activities as required.
• Cleaning, maintaining and completing basic upkeep of the Flocon truck and equipment.
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and reporting any faults or issues.
• Working safely around live traffic environments.

Connect People is seeking an experienced Flocon Operator to join our client's road maintenance team based in Sydney, NSW.

Our client delivers essential road maintenance services across Sydney, completing planned and reactive works to keep road networks safe and operational. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for consistent work with a reputable infrastructure provider.

What's on offer:

• Day shift rate: $44.17 per hour + super


• Night shift rate: $54.77 per hour + super


• Rotating roster: 1 week nights + 2 weeks days


• Opportunity to work on essential road maintenance projects

What you'll be doing:

• Operating a Flocon truck for road maintenance activities


• Supporting pothole repairs and asphalt maintenance works


• Assisting with planned and reactive road maintenance tasks


• Carrying out general road repair and maintenance activities as required

What you need:

• Strong commitment to workplace safety


• Ability to work day and night shifts as part of a rotating roster


• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions


• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team


• Full Australian working rights & currently based in Sydney
