Job summary

Department of Transport & Planning Victoria – Greater Bendigo VIC is seeking a Road Delivery Lead to oversee road maintenance across major routes, manage projects and prepare approvals in line with corporate requirements.

The role requires strong planning, governance and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on quality, compliance and continuous improvement in a busy transportation environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management and/or demonstrated experience in road maintenance, pavement management, construction, asset management or a related field.
• Open to travelling to Bendigo (flexible work arrangements can be discussed)

Responsibilities

• Deliver road maintenance across Victorian freeways and arterial roads, including rehabilitation, resurfacing and routine works under VRMC.
• Support the preparation of high-quality project approvals in line with corporate requirements.
• Ensure quality, compliance and best practice while managing risks and resources.
