Job summary

The Department of Transport and Planning in Victoria is seeking a Road Delivery Lead to oversee road maintenance across regional freeways and arterial roads, including rehabilitation, resurfacing and routine works under VRMC. You will ensure quality, compliance and effective delivery with strong planning and contract management.

Applicants should have a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, plus experience in road maintenance and asset management.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management and/or demonstrated experience in road maintenance, pavement management, construction, asset management or a related field.
Open to travelling to Bendigo (flexible work arrangements can be discussed).

Responsibilities

Deliver road maintenance across Victorian freeways and arterial roads, including rehabilitation, resurfacing and routine works under VRMC.
Support preparation of high-quality project approvals in line with corporate requirements.
Manage risks, resources, and prepare technical documents and reports.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.
