Job summary

NTRO - National Transport Research Organisation is seeking Road Data Collection Surveyors to join a national team. The role focuses on accurate field collection of road inventory and pavement condition surveys across Australia, New Zealand and Australasia using NTRO technologies such as iPAVe and iSSAVe, NSVs and FWDs.

You should be willing to travel and spend long periods in vehicles on a 20-day roster. The ideal candidate will have a clean HC license with substantial driving hours, mechanical

Qualifications

• A current, clean HC class driver's license with at least 1000 hours' experience is desirable.
• Mechanical or electronic trade experience (e.g. Auto Electrician, Electrician, IT or Mechanic).
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software and is a competent user of Microsoft Office products.
• Previous road network survey experience (preferable).
• A tolerant, flexible, and easy-going nature together with a professional customer service approach.
• A willingness to be on the road for 20 days and having 10 days off

Responsibilities

• Routine field data collection and quality testing.
• Data processing and checking of survey information.
• Scheduled and unscheduled servicing, maintenance, and validations of various survey equipment.
