Job summary

The Oncology@Home Clinical Nurse at Women’s and Children’s Health Network in Adelaide will work part-time (0.84 FTE) to deliver safe, high-quality home-based cancer care in collaboration with the WCH@Home and MRCHO teams.

You will provide patient-centred nursing care, support education, participate in audits, and help with teaching junior staff, while meeting professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Paediatric Anti-Cancer Drug Administration Course competent, or willing to undertake competency.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
• Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards.

About the role

The Oncology@Home Clinical Nurse has experience in paediatric oncology who works collaboratively with the WCH@Home and Michael Rice Centre for Haematology/Oncology (MRCHO) multi-disciplinary teams, patients and families to facilitate the delivery of safe, high quality home-based cancer care through Oncology@Home.
