Job summary
Join the Women’s and Children’s Health Network (WCHN) as the Oncology@Home Clinical Nurse in paediatric oncology. You will work with the WCH@Home and MRCHO teams to deliver safe, high‑quality home cancer care to children and families.
This part-time (0.84 FTE), fixed-term role until 15 October 2027, is for an experienced RN/M2A LV2. Salary ranges from $107,487 to $114,917 plus 12% Superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with NMBA Australia registration and current practice certificate.
- Paediatric anti-cancer drug administration course or willingness to undertake.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet timelines with minimal supervision.
- 3 years (FTE) post-registration nursing experience.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards and ethics.
Responsibilities
- Provide proficient, person-centred nursing care and case management in a defined clinical area.
- Assist NMU/MUM in management, clinical and education activities.
- Participate in clinical teaching, supervising students and staff development.
- Participate in clinical auditing, trials and evaluative research.
- Promote continuity of care in collaboration with the unit manager.
