Job summary
Bayside Health invites applications for Registered Nurse (RPN2) at Ngamai Wilam Residential Eating Disorder Program in Armadale, Melbourne. The role supports adults with eating disorders in a 12-bed residential setting, with a rotating shift roster including mornings, afternoons and nights.
This position is part-time (0.8 EFT/64hrs) to July 2027. Bayside Health offers comprehensive orientation, professional development and a supportive team environment with strong emphasis on recovery-focused
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Experience or interest in eating disorders is desirable.
- Postgraduate MH nursing qualifications or working towards are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented nursing care in a residential setting.
- Conduct risk and mental state assessments and develop care plans with participants.
- Deliver evidence-informed interventions tailored to individuals with eating disorders.
- Work within the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022) and related legislation.
- Engage with participants, families, supports, and multidisciplinary team.
- Uphold dignity, choice, and self-determination in a team-focused environment.
