Bayside Health is seeking a Night Duty Registered Nurse (RPN2) for Ngamai Wilam Residential Eating Disorder Program based in Armadale, Melbourne.

Role involves night shifts as part of a 0.79 EFT roster, delivering trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care to adults with eating disorders in a 12‑bed residential setting. Applicants should have AHPRA registration and an interest in ED care.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration in Australia.
• Demonstrated interest and/or experience in eating disorders.
• Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing (desirable).
• Experience delivering therapeutic care for people with eating disorders (desirable).
• Experience working in residential settings (desirable).
• Current Victorian Driver License, Working with Children Check and background check.

About Us

Ngamai Wilam is a 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale. Jointly funded by theAustralian Federal Governmentand theVictorian Government, thisspecialist statewide service will be managed by Alfred Care Group.

Ngamai Wilam provides24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused carefor adults aged 18 and over in agender-inclusive, home-like therapeutic environment. With a strong emphasis onfamily and chosen supports, our team is dedicated toperson-centred care that promotes long-term recovery.

About the Role

As aRegistered Mental Health Nurse, you will:

• Play avital rolein supporting individuals through their recovery journey in a residential setting.
• Provideperson-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented carefor people experiencing eating disorders.
• Conductcomprehensive risk and mental state assessmentsand develop care plans in collaboration with participants.
• Deliverevidence-informed interventionstailored to the unique needs of individuals with eating disorders.
• Work within theVictorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)and other relevant legislation.
• Engage effectively withparticipants, families, chosen supports, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Be part of asupportive, team-focused environmentthat upholds dignity, choice, and self-determination.

About You

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA)with theNursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated interest and/or experience in eating disorders.
• Postgraduate qualifications inmental health nursingor currently working towards (desirable).
• Experience providingtherapeutic care for individuals with eating disordersin hospital, community, or specialist settings (desirable).
• Experience working inresidential settings(desirable).
• Current Victorian DriverLicense, Working with Children Check, and Background Check.
