Lifeblood (Australian Red Cross Lifeblood) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Brisbane Donor Centre on a permanent part-time basis. The role offers rotating shifts across a roster Monday to Sunday at the Brisbane Donor Centre, with salary starting from $41.83 per hour plus penalties, super and salary packaging.

A Bachelor of Nursing and an AHPRA registration are required. You will greet donors, perform health checks, manage the donation process, and support the team to ensure a steady supply

Formación

• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration required.
• Flexible to work varied shifts on a rotating roster, including weekends and afternoons.
• Own vehicle and driver's licence advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability.
• Provide clinical oversight and guide team members in blood collection.
• Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
• Set up machines and collection equipment.
• Insert and remove needles safely to collect blood products.
• Manage adverse donor reactions and provide assistance.
• Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking.
